*Disclaimer, Please read this!
*Here is a list of informational websites and books. Please be
aware that anything you read is not gospel, nor the final word. Parrots
are much too complicated for that. Just as the hundreds of
"How to raise your child" books over the years might offer guidelines...
NONE apply completely to your child. This is why as long as there
are children, there will be new books written about them. Same goes
for parrots. The trick is to find out what works and what doesn't
in YOUR case. Some ideas in these books and information are just plain
stupid or dangerous (mostly to you, haha), while others can be of great
help and insight. Read with an open mind and hope that the suggestions
therein may be of help in your case. If you have doubts about
anything you've read or misgivings about the results of any suggestions
in these books.. don't be afraid to ask others what they think! They
may have gone through the same thing as you, and found a better way
to handle their particular situation. One more thing: I am not
endorsing all of the following books, links or information contained therein.
This is simply a list for those hundreds of people who contact me every
week for other sources of information. Good Luck!
